Exploring: Ben Cab Museum

The wonderful art in Ben Cab Museum served as the perfect backdrop for the opening and closing spiels for my lifestyle/travel show, #TrendingWithKelly. Of course, I had to take photos for my blog as well. Both outfits are from my show’s clothing sponsor, H&M (except the grey coat, which I got from Mango last season. For my shoes, the pointed lace ups are from Vince Camuto, and the white sneakers are from Tretorn, which are available at Res Toe Run.

The Day I Wore: Red ruffles

I’m a stickler for anything red with ruffles, so this top from H&M called out to me from across the showroom. I love how the color brightens my face–it has the same effect as wearing red lipstick. So I wore the top with ripped jeans (also from H&M), which I think worked well to balance out how frilly the top is. And slipped on my favorite leather sandals from Annie & Lori. These photos were taken on the Bridgeway of the Petronas Twin Towers while I was doing spiels for my lifestyle/travel show, #TrendingWithKelly. ❤ Happy weekend!

The day I wore: Orange Velvet

Photos by Neil T. Alix

Theres really nothing like cool weather dressing. I love the idea of throwing on something fuzzy and comfortable while still looking stylish. This ensemble from H&M does just that–the oversized sweater paired with the bright orange velvet skirt just works. It was an easy outfit to wear for my taping for Trending With Kelly in Baguio. Though its not cool enough to wear this, it will be in a few months, and I am looking forward to the drop in temperature.

The day I wore: Yellow Floral

I love being able to wear clothes in different ways. It means you were able to make a good purchase, because the article of clothing is versatile and flattering. I wore this long wrap dress from H&M as a long coverup, and it totally worked for my look that day. Worn with a white ruffle-sleeved tee, bright yellow high waisted shorts (both from H&M) and tan strappy sandals (Annie & Lori), I felt effortlessly cool that day. ❤
